1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Minetopia's Minecraft server, website (minetopia.org), Discord community, store, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have a valid Minecraft account to join our server. Website features that require login need a Minetopia account linked to your Minecraft identity. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate You may not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise give others access to your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised, shared, or abused.

3. Server Rules

You agree to follow all Minetopia server rules, which are published on our Rules page and may be updated from time to time. Violation of the rules, these Terms, or applicable law may result in warnings, mutes, temporary bans, permanent bans, blacklist, removal of ranks or items, or other moderation action at our discretion.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, hacks, modified clients, macros, or unauthorized third-party software that provides an unfair advantage
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics
• Harass, bully, threaten, or discriminate against other players or staff
• Use hate speech, extreme toxicity, or other abusive behavior
• Spam, advertise unauthorized servers or services, or engage in scams
• Impersonate staff, players, or other individuals
• Share or sell accounts, ranks, items, or currencies
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, website, databases, or other players' accounts
• Interfere with the operation, security, or enjoyment of the Services Staff decisions related to moderation are final unless overturned through an official appeal process.

5. In-Game Purchases and Virtual Items

Minetopia may offer optional purchases through our store, including ranks, cosmetics, crates, or other virtual items. By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms and privacy policy of the third-party payment or store provider used to process the transaction. Unless required by law or otherwise stated in a written refund policy:

• All purchases are final and non-refundable
• Virtual items, ranks, and currencies have no real-world cash value
• Virtual items cannot be exchanged for real money
• We are not responsible for purchases made on the wrong account, username, or UUID We may modify, replace, or remove store products, ranks, or benefits at any time. Purchases do not guarantee permanent access if your account is banned or otherwise restricted for rule or Terms violations.

6. Website, Support, and Community

Our website may include news, voting, account settings, support tickets, and other features. You agree to use these features lawfully and in good faith. When submitting support tickets or appeals, you agree to provide truthful information. False, abusive, or spam submissions may be closed and may lead to further action. Our Discord server is part of the Minetopia community. Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines also apply there, in addition to our rules.

7. Intellectual Property

Minetopia, our branding, website content, custom plugins, maps, configurations, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors, except where Minecraft or other third-party rights apply. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our Services or content without prior written permission, except as allowed by applicable law. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. Minetopia is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and store certain information about your account, website use, and in-game activity. This may include your Minecraft username, UUID, email address, session data, support messages, and other information described in our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to that collection and use as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Minetopia online and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, reset, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including for maintenance, updates, emergencies, or operational reasons. We are not responsible for loss of progress, items, ranks, or data caused by crashes, rollbacks, exploits, player actions, or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minetopia and its operators, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, including loss of in-game items, currency, ranks, progress, data, or profits. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Minetopia and its operators and staff from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another person.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the server, website account, Discord community, or other Services at any time if you violate these Terms, our rules, or applicable law, or if we reasonably believe such action is necessary to protect the community or the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Stopping use does not automatically entitle you to a refund of prior purchases.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operators of Minetopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
